Technical Consulting and Supervision

Clients often have a clear idea of what they need, but not the in-house mechanical engineering expertise to translate it into technical requirements, select a manufacturer, and oversee the work. In such projects we take on the role of their technical counterpart – from defining the requirements and preparing the specification, through selecting a manufacturer and coordinating manufacture, to the acceptance and testing of the finished assembly.

The service covers the preparation of technical specifications for procurement procedures, the preparation of production and assembly documentation and parts lists, the collection and technical evaluation of quotations, the coordination of manufacture and procurement of individual items, engineering supervision during manufacture and assembly, and testing of the assembly both at the manufacturer and after installation at the client's site. We likewise address individual questions – assessing the feasibility of an idea before investing in development, reviewing an existing design, or analyzing the cause of a failure on equipment in operation.

Since we are not tied to any single manufacturer, our recommendations rest solely on technical and economic arguments. The client thus gains a counterpart who understands both their requirements and the capabilities and constraints of manufacturing, which significantly reduces the risk of a misunderstanding coming to light only at delivery.
