Hydraulic vise

This self-centering, hydraulically actuated vise is developed as a clamping device for a specialized machine tool, but its design allows for simple integration with commercially available machining centers. It is intended for clamping cylindrical workpieces with diameters ranging from 20 mm to 40 mm and lengths from 100 mm to 400 mm. Sets of interchangeable and adjustable jaws enable optimal clamping of specific workpiece types while ensuring clamping repeatability of ±0.01 mm. The jaws of the hydraulic vise are prismatic in shape, and the surfaces in contact with the workpiece are serrated and hardened. The dual stroke of the clamping jaws is 30 mm, while the clamping force at 250 bar is 49 kN. The hydraulic vise is equipped with an IP68-rated limit switch, enabling reliable detection of jaw opening and facilitating integration into automated machining systems.
